  1. If wet:
    1. Blot up as much as possible with a dry towel followed with thorough blotting with Saf-T-Solv®.
    2. Thoroughly extract and dry.
  2. If dry:
    1. Apply a bead of the Pro-Solve Gel to the area to be treated, agitate, apply a bead of Power Gel, agitate and extract.
  3. NOTE: Some paints and varnishes, especially if left on the carpet too long, will not come up with normal spotters and solvents.
    1. In that case use a thickened paint stripper but be careful - the active ingredient in paint strippers (Methylene Chloride) is a known carcinogen and can also readily delaminate the carpet.
